Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this here Cordoba brick. Now, I ain’t no fancy builder or nothin’, but I know a good brick when I see one. Folks been usin’ bricks for ages, ya know? Even them old timers way back when, buildin’ their houses outta mud, kinda like bricks but not so strong.
This Cordoba brick, they tell me it’s a “thin brick”. Now what that means to me is it ain’t as thick as them other bricks. They call it a “Queen” size, somethin’ like two and three quarters inches wide and seven and a half inches long, give or take. I ain’t got no ruler on me, but that sounds ’bout right.
What color is it? Well, it ain’t just plain red like some bricks. This here Cordoba, it’s mostly tan, but with a little bit of light gray and cream mixed in. Kinda purdy, if you ask me. They call that “flashing”, makes it look fancy.
Now, who makes this here brick? I heard tell of a company called General Shale, big outfit they are. They say they’re the biggest brick maker in America, can ya believe that? They got all sorts of bricks, all colors and sizes. And Meridian makes it, and Spaulding Brick Company sells it. That’s what I heard tell anyway.
They say this Cordoba brick is made outta clay, just like them old timers used. But they bake it real good, makes it strong. Stronger than them other buildin’ materials, that’s for sure. And it lasts a long time too, stands up to the weather and all that.
- Good for houses.
- Good for stores.
- Good for anything you wanna build, I reckon.
Now, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout “engineer bricks”, sayin’ they’re the strongest. But them ain’t purdy like the Cordoba. They use ’em for big buildin’s, where it ain’t gotta look nice, just be strong. And they cost a heap more too, somethin’ like 20% more than them other bricks.
This Cordoba brick, it’s good for folks like you and me, wantin’ a nice lookin’ house that’s strong and sturdy. Folks like it ’cause it’s warm and cozy feelin’. Not cold and drafty like them concrete houses. And listen here, it’s stronger and more sustainable than other building stuff, they say.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good brick, give this Cordoba a try. I reckon you won’t be disappointed. It ain’t the cheapest, and it ain’t the strongest, but it’s a good all-around brick that’ll last you a long time and look good doin’ it. That’s all there is to it, plain and simple.
And one more thing, they say General Shale, they make it sustainably, so that’s good for the planet and all them young’uns growin’ up. Gotta think about the future, ya know.
Now, I ain’t got nothin’ more to say ‘bout this brick. You go on and see for yourself, if you want. But I’m tellin’ you, it’s a good ‘un.
