They fire ’em up real good when they make ’em, makes ’em tough as nails.
So, if you’re buildin’ somethin’ that’s gonna get hot, like a fireplace or a pizza oven or somethin’, you’re gonna need fire bricks. Don’t go tryin’ to use regular bricks, they won’t last. And don’t go thinkin’ you can just use any old fire brick, neither. You gotta get the right kind for the job. If it’s gonna get real, real hot, you need them high-alumina ones. They cost more, but they’re worth it. Otherwise, your bricks might just melt or fall apart, and then you’ll have a real mess on your hands.
