- Soft Bricks: I ain’t sure what they’re for exactly, but they ain’t as tough as the hard ones. Maybe for places that don’t get quite as hot.
They use these refactory bricks all over the place, not just in steel mills. I heard they use ’em in glass factories, cement plants, even in them fancy ceramic places. And them oil refineries, they need ’em too. Heck, they even use ’em in boilers and power plants. Seems like anything that gets real hot needs these special bricks.
Making these bricks ain’t easy, I tell ya. They don’t just dig ’em up out of the ground. They gotta mix all that stuff together, then they squish it in these big machines.
