Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this here Australbricks, you know, the brick folks. I ain’t no fancy writer or nothin’, but I know a good brick when I see one, and these folks, they been around a long, long time. Started way back in 1908, they say. That’s before my time, even before my grandma’s time, I reckon.
Australbricks, what’s the big deal? They the biggest brick makers in Australia, that’s what. They got them brick factories all over the place, every state, they say. Melbourne, Sydney, everywhere. So, if you need bricks, you gonna find these Australbricks people, that’s for sure.
Now, I heard tell they make all sorts of bricks. Not just your regular red ones, but fancy ones too. They got somethin’ they call pavers, for makin’ nice walkways and such. And different brands too, like Adbri, Selkirk, and of course, Austral. Sounds like a whole lotta brick choices if you ask me.

I ain’t never bought a thousand bricks myself, but I heard they don’t sell ‘em one by one, like candy. You gotta buy a whole bunch at once. And the price? Well, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Folks say it can be anywhere from 35 cents to 90 cents a brick. Sounds like a lot when you think about it, but I guess that’s just how it is.
How’d they get so big? Well, like I said, they been around forever. Some fella named Edwin Spackman, he started it all with a bunch of other fellas, builders and such. Then, back in 1943, they joined up with another company, Brickworks Limited. That’s how they got so big, I guess. Smart folks, them businessmen.
They got these fancy words they use, like “architectural design” and “sleek lines.” I don’t know much about that, but I know a good-lookin’ wall when I see one. And they got somethin’ called Tru Brix, makes everything look nice and neat, they say. Sounds good to me. If you want a wall that’ll last, you gotta use good bricks, ain’t that right?
And get this, they say their bricks got a 100-year warranty. Now, that’s a long time. I ain’t gonna be around to see if them bricks last that long, but it’s nice to know they stand behind their product. They call it “dependable,” and I guess that’s important. You don’t want your house fallin’ apart, now do ya?
So, there you have it. Australbricks. Big brick company, been around forever, makes all sorts of bricks. If you need bricks, these are the folks you go to. They probably know a thing or two, seeing as they been doing it for so long. That’s all I gotta say about that. Now, where did I put my tea…?
Just good, strong bricks, that’s all you need to know. And Australbricks, they got plenty of ’em. They say they’re the biggest, and I ain’t got no reason to doubt ‘em. Been hearin’ their name for years, even way out here in the sticks. So, that must mean somethin’, right?
