Okay, so I’ve been wanting to level up my BBQ game, and I kept hearing about these “heat bricks.” I figured, why not give them a shot? Let’s see if they actually make a difference.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed a pack of these BBQ heat bricks. They weren’t hard to find, just at the local hardware store. They felt pretty solid, kind of like heavy tiles. I made sure to get enough to cover most of the bottom of my grill.

Setting Up the Grill
Next, I cleaned out my grill. Gotta get rid of all that old ash and gunk, you know? Then, I arranged the bricks on the bottom. I tried to get them pretty close together, but I wasn’t too fussy about it. Just made sure they were covering the area where the charcoal would go.
Lighting it Up

The Cook

The Results!
Okay, verdict time. The food cooked great! The chicken was juicy, the burgers had a nice char. Was it dramatically different than before? Honestly, it’s hard to say for sure. It did seem like the heat was more even, and I maybe used a bit less charcoal overall. I will definatly try it again!
I think to be fair. It is good for beginers and those who don’t have a big experiance with BBQ.
