Okay, so yesterday, I was messing around in the game Enshrouded and I finally figured out how to make fired brick. It took me some time, but I got there, so I thought I’d share my experience with you all.
First off, I had to get my hands on a kiln. Sounds fancy, but it’s basically a big oven. To build this thing, I needed to find the Carpenter. This guy is one of the NPCs you can rescue, and he’s super useful. Once I rescued him, he set up shop in my base, and I could ask him to craft the kiln for me. It wasn’t free, though. I had to gather some resources like stones and stuff, which took a bit of running around and mining.
After I got the kiln, the real fun began. I needed two main ingredients to make fired brick: Lump of Clay and Wood Log. Getting wood was no big deal, just chopping down some trees, you know, the usual. But the clay was a bit trickier. I had to explore around until I found some clay deposits. They look like these reddish-brown patches on the ground. I mined a bunch of that until I had enough.
Then, I went back to my base, fired up the kiln – no pun intended – and put the clay and wood inside. It takes a little bit of time for it to process, so I went off to do some other quests while I waited. When I came back, boom, fired bricks! It felt pretty good to finally make them, not gonna lie. I used these bricks to upgrade my Flame Altar. It’s really important for leveling up in the game.
- Find and rescue the Carpenter.
- Craft a kiln using the resources the Carpenter asks for.
- Gather Lump of Clay and Wood Log.
- Bake them in the kiln.
- Wait for the process to finish.
And that’s how I did it! It wasn’t super hard, but it definitely took some effort. Hope this helps you guys out if you’re trying to do the same in Enshrouded!
