Okay, so I’ve been craving some really good pizza lately, and I kept hearing about this place called “Strong’s Brick Oven Pizza.” Everyone raves about their wood-fired pies, so I figured, why not give it a shot? This is my journey of discovery, from craving to devouring.
The Build-Up
First, I looked them up online. I wanted to see their menu, get a feel for the place, you know? I browsed through pictures of their pizzas – that crispy crust, the gooey cheese, it all looked amazing.

Making a Plan
Next, I checked out their location and hours. I didn’t want to get all hyped up for pizza only to find out they were closed. I even looked at the parking. No, I am not a parking expert, just making sure I get my pizza easily.
The Experience
- Arriving: I walked in, and the smell of that wood-fired oven hit me immediately. It was heavenly! The place had a nice, cozy vibe.
- Ordering: I spent a good few minutes staring at the menu, everything sounded so good. Finally, I decided on the classic Margherita pizza. Can’t go wrong with the basics, right? I also added a side of their garlic knots because, well, garlic knots.
- Waiting (impatiently): While I waited, I watched the pizzaiolos work their magic. It was mesmerizing to see them tossing the dough and sliding the pizzas into that fiery oven.
The Payoff
Finally, my pizza arrived. It looked even better than the pictures. The crust was perfectly charred, the mozzarella was bubbly and golden, and the fresh basil was vibrant green.
I took my first bite, and oh my goodness. It was everything I’d hoped for. The crust had that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, the sauce was tangy and flavorful, and the cheese was just…perfection. Those garlic knots? Also amazing. Seriously, I devoured that pizza. No shame.
The Verdict
So, would I go back to Strong’s? Absolutely! It was some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. The whole experience, from the anticipation to the last bite, was fantastic. I’m already planning my next visit and thinking about which pizza I’ll try next. Maybe the one with all the meats…
