This here’s about Refractarios Zedmex, you know, that company. They make them, uh, refractory things. Heard they’re pretty good at it, too. They got all kinds of stuff, like bricks and blocks. My grandson, he’s always on that computer, he told me all about it. Says it’s important for making glass and whatnot.
They make these refractory shapes, some simple, some not so simple. They got this way of doing it, called, uh, “Cast process.” Pour it in a mold, like making a cake, but I bet it’s a lot hotter. And they make all sorts of things with it, big and small. They say they can make anything you need, these Zedmex folks.
They got this stuff, High Alumina, and Mullite, and something called AZS. Sounds like a bunch of alphabet soup to me. They also got Fused Silica. Don’t ask me what that is, just sounds fancy. But it’s all for making those refractory things. They say it’s good for hot places, like where they melt stuff. These Refractarios Zedmex materials are tough, I reckon.

They make these special shapes, for, uh, glass feeders, I heard. And they make superstructures, for cooling and, uh, conditioning. Sounds like what they do to hair, but I guess it’s different for glass. They also do bricks, and some other stuff that don’t have a shape. Refractarios Zedmex, they do it all, it seems.
This Zedmex, they’re in Santa Catarina, I think. That’s what my grandson said. He found it on that computer thing. They got a big place there, making all this refractory stuff. People need it, I guess. For making glass and other things that get real hot.
They got this newfangled thing, Industry 4.0, they call it. Sounds like something out of a space movie. They got fancy equipment in their laboratory, checking everything, making sure it’s all good. They even use additives and mixes, just like baking, but a whole lot different. Zedmex, they sure are modern.
They got this, uh, process supervision, too. Making sure everything’s running smooth. They even deal with power generation, and burning trash, and that petro-chem-istry stuff. Refractarios Zedmex is involved in a lot of things, it looks like.
They got these shaped refractories, and they got shaping. I guess that’s how they make them different shapes. Zedmex is always busy, always making something. They need to make them good so that glass they make can be good for other things. Them Zedmex refractories are everywhere, I bet.
My grandson says they’re important, these Zedmex folks. They make things that help make other things. It’s all connected, like a big old spiderweb. And these refractory things are right in the middle of it. They also have some kind of, how you say, reports or something. This one is called CoP Zedmex 2022, the other is CoP Zedmex 2021. I don’t know what that means, just sound important.
They say they’re passionate about these refractories. Must be, to do all this. And they want to make things that people need. That’s good, I reckon. It’s like growing vegetables, you want to grow what people want to eat. Zedmex, they’re like the farmers of these refractory things.
From melting to, uh, making a droplet, like a candle, they said. That’s how they make the glass, I guess. It is all hot and melty. And then they make the containers, all from that hot glass. Refractarios Zedmex, they help make that happen, with their special stuff.
So, that’s what I know about Refractarios Zedmex. They make a lot of different refractory things, they use fancy words and new ways, and they help make glass and other stuff. That’s what my grandson told me, anyway. He’s a smart one, that boy.
