Okay, so I was messing around with these wedge bricks, trying to see what I could make with them. I had a bunch of different kinds, like those curved ones, some that were all sloped, and even some that were like, cut out in the middle. I didn’t really have a plan, I just wanted to see how they fit together.
I started with the curved ones, the 4 x 3 ones with the cutout and two studs. I thought those would make a cool base for something, maybe a spaceship or a weird car. I connected a few of them together and it looked kinda neat, all smooth and round. But then I got stuck. I didn’t know what to put on top of them.
Trying out different shapes
Next, I grabbed the 4 x 4 sloped ones. These looked like they’d make a good roof or something. I tried sticking them on top of the curved bricks, but it didn’t look right. They were too big, and the angles were all wrong. It just looked like a mess, to be honest.
- Wedge Curved 4 x 3 Cut Back with Cutout, Two Studs – These were cool, but I needed more to make a full circle or something.
- Wedge Sloped 4 x 4 Taper – These were too bulky for what I was trying to do.
- Classic Bulk Bricks Wedge 4 x 2 Triple Left – I had a bunch of these in white and light gray, but I couldn’t figure out how to use them effectively.
I kept trying different combinations, putting the sloped ones on the bottom, using the white and gray wedge bricks, but nothing was working. It all looked jumbled up and not like anything cool. I even tried making a circle with the 8-inch chemical-resistant wedge bricks, but I didn’t have enough of them to complete it, and it was a pain to calculate how many I’d need.
Finally finding something that works
Finally, I decided to just go simple. I took two of the 4 x 2 triple left wedge bricks, one white and one light gray, and put them together. It made a nice little pointed shape, like an arrowhead or a simple spaceship wing. That’s when it hit me. I could use these to make a bunch of small, identical modules and then connect them to build something bigger!
I spent the next hour making a whole bunch of these little arrowheads, just connecting those two wedge brick pieces together. It was kinda relaxing, actually, just doing the same thing over and over. Then came the fun part. I started connecting the modules together, and slowly, a bigger shape started to emerge. It looked like a spiky ball, or maybe some kind of futuristic building. I was really digging it!
I didn’t end up making anything specific, but I was pretty happy with how my little experiment turned out. I learned that sometimes the simplest shapes are the best, and that even if you don’t have a plan, you can still make something cool by just playing around. It’s all about trying things out and seeing what works. And sometimes, the best ideas come when you’re not even trying that hard, you know?
